  • Is your wedding a Mass, a Wedding Service without Holy Communion or a Wedding Service with Holy Communion?

  •  Seek your presider's guidance on appropriate readings, prayers and songs.

  • Send a draft copy to your presider at least 4-6 weeks before your wedding. This allows time for your presider to vet and amend the wedding booklet where needed.

  • Then, inform the Weddings team so we can send you the appropriate soft copy template for you to create your wedding booklet.

  • Once approved, please print 6 copies (1 copy in A4 & 5 copies in A5) of your booklet for use by the presider, commentator and lector(s) etc. at your wedding.

Checklist:

  • A cover page for your booklet

  • Recommended font size equivalent to Arial 11

  • Avoid light coloured font

  • Select your readings, psalms and gospel (Refer to the section on "Liturgy Guide")

  • Select your own hymns or from the section on "Liturgical Music"

  • Send to presider 4-6 weeks prior to wedding

  • Format & paginate accordingly before printing

  • Check to ensure pages are in correct running order 

  • Check that the print is the correct side up for all the pages

  • Print 6 copies (1 copy in A4 & 5 copies in A5) to be given to Sacraments Coordinator on your Wedding Day
