The music for the service/Mass is not only a personal celebration of love, it is an act of public worship in the Church. Its purpose is to help the gathered people pray, participate, and enter more deeply into the mystery being celebrated. The focus is not only “our love for each other,” but “our love received from God, blessed by God, and lived in Christ.”

As such, all music selections should be approved as liturgically appropriate for service/Mass.
